With a membership greater than 1,500 members, GOBA represents boat owners on the Great Ouse and East Anglian waterways. Membership includes access to over 30 moorings on the river Great Ouse and its tributaries and a magazine published three times a year.
The Electric Boat Association champions the interests of electric boat owners providing information and support with issues such as waterway access, charging points, slipway facilities, reduced license fees and boat safety scheme compliance.

The Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) is a public safety initiative owned equally by the Canal and River Trust and the Environment Agency; it’s purpose is to help minimise the risk of boat fires, explosions, or pollution harming visitors to the inland waterways, waterways’ workforce and any other users.
