Blacking

From March to October we provide blacking services for narrow boats, widebeams or any steel boat where the vessel is lifted onto a hard standing for work to be completed 

We pressure wash, hand scrape and apply up to three coats of blacking. Generally turn-around is within a week with a choice of single or two-pack blacking systems

Anode replacement and engineering work can be organised as part of the service

We run a waiting list which can be up to two years in advance, so booking is highly recommended

Lift off & on transport

We make light work of lifting boats on and off road transporters, with boats transported to and from all over the UK and abroad

Whether you are taking your boat to another location or bringing your boat onto our river network, please give us a call and ask for our lift-out fees and appointments

Pressure washing, antifouling, surveys and examinations

Our crane is available for short-term services where a vessel can be lifted and supported in slings for pressure washing, antifouling, as well as surveyor examinations for pre-purchase and insurance purposes

As required, we can call in specialist engineering, fibreglass repair and welding services
